Will Adrian Fernandes of Team Wreckers be dethroned this year? And by who?
The Guyana Motor Racing and Sports Club has rolled out its list of activities for 2019 with round one of the Endurance Series being the event to get the engines started at South Dakota.
Drivers and riders who compete under the auspices of the sports club are urged to get their preparations underway since action starts on February 3.
The Endurance meet is expected to follow the usual format, catering for both cars and bikes competing in five classes.
In the first class, cars up to 1500cc will be considered eligible, with the second class being from 1501-1600cc. The third class will see cars in the 1601-2000cc class, with the unlimited class featuring cars over 2000cc.
Team Wreckers ace driver Adrian Fernandes was the 2018 champion driver for the Endurance series.
After an undefeated year with his Toyota Levin, Fernandes scored 75 points to be crowned the overall champion driver, while Balram Ramdeo with 228 points was deemed the best mechanic.
