Having got their containers on Friday evening, the Trinidadians, who had never raced on the South Dakota drag surface, were eager to get their cars on track and dialed in. However, the rain pretty much fell all day and prevented any running for the high powered Sheldon Bissessar Racing Rail Car and the ‘Tweety’ Nissan Laurel of Gordon Rooks.
The lower powered cars did manage to get in some un-timed runs near sunset but the stage was already set for a bag full of surprises for the Trinidadians come race day on Sunday.
